Q. Is my payment transaction secure?

Our web uses a SSL or “Secure Sockets Layer” certifcate, an industry standard security protocol, provided by GeoTrust (an independent 3rd party). You can click on the GeoTrust logo at the bottom of our checkout page and confirm our SSL certificate. When you place an order and before your credit card information is transmitted, you are connected to a secure server. SSL encrypts your purchase data including credit card information into a secure code that is extremely difficult to decipher.

Q. How long will it take to receive my online order?

We strive to produce and ship your order within 6 business days or less. Within 24 hours of placing an order you will recieve a confirmation email which will include the expected shipping date. If you have a RUSH order let us know by adding the date in the comment section of the checkout page or contact us directly and we will confirm our ability to deliver on time. We also offer graphic design services to touch-up or repair corporate logos and graphics to make them suitable for laser engraving and we will keep these files ready for your next order. Remember to add two days for shipping for North American orders.

Q. Is there a Quality Guarantee?

Q. How does Quest Awards get the specific patent data to engrave on my patent plaque?

When you order a patent online you will be asked to enter your patent number. When your order is received our production staff search for your patent in the appropriate Patent Office database and obtain the specific data for your “unique” commemorative plaque. The information engraved includes; Patent Number, Title of Patent, Names of Inventors, Abstract, Date of Grant and the name of the Assignee.

Q. Tell me about LASER-engraving technology?

We have made significant investments in the latest in LASER-engraving and computer technology. LASER-engraving achieves the highest quality engraving possible and ensures that our finished product meets the high quality standards our customers have come to expect. Unlike other tools, the LASER-engraver generates a beam of light that is sharply focused in a manner that vaporizes the material. There are certain advantages to LASER-engraving over conventional engraved, such as accuracy, precision, and since there is no physical contact with the material it reduces potential product damage. The engraved area is permanent, extremely concise and clean. LASER-engraving also allows us to engrave onto materials that are un-engraveable by other methods.
